ABOUT
THE ARTIST

Finding the right piece of art for a particular client is not always easy. You want to please them and keep them happy and you also want to keep your shared vision of a particular space intact.

Working with it'sALLart, you'll have the unique opportunity to take advantage of my talents at their best. With a background in graphic design for over 3 decades, I know how to match a piece of art with a specific look. Having the ability to create a custom piece of art for nearly any interior is where my artistic abilities shine. I have a professional approach to creating art for an interior business scenario. (For more about the commission process, email me.)

Case Study:
Community Hospitals of Indianapolis

I was approached by a firm in Houstin, Texas to come up with a dyptich for the entrance to Community Hospital North's new surgical wing. They sent swatches of the wall coverings, upholstery and flooring for a color match. They wanted the piece to be created in my colorfield style and chose one in particular they felt was the right flavor for the project, but wanted a new size and color scheme.

After working on digital sketches (more about that process here), I finalized one with the new colors and sent the resulting JPG to them. The project was approved to go forward with, naturally, some slight changes.

Working digitally allows for changes in element positioning, color intensity and proportions. It means that changes can be made easily before any paint was applied to the canvas. Once final approval was given, I then stretched the two canvases and began to paint. I also gave the broker a few JPGs midway through the project to make sure they were happy with the actual paintings.

Once the pieces were done, I sent final JPGs for approval before delivery, just in case. Their client was extremely happy with the pieces and I delivered them to the site the next week.

Case Study: Eli Lilly and Company

A local art broker called to inquire about some of my available finished pieces for a project bid she was presenting to Lilly. After going over several pieces, she chose 5 to show her client. Once the bids were presented, she was chosen as the art broker for the project.

Two works of mine were selected and I immediately got them ready for the trip to the location where they would hang and handed them off to the broker. Lilly's team was extremely pleased with the works and the broker was pleased with how easy it was to find a solution for her client.
